Friends of Metro Parks disAbilities Program is a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting recreational and enrichment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Nashville community.
For more than 40 years, Metro Parks and Recreation has provided programs that encourage social engagement, physical activity, skill development, and meaningful community participation for individuals with disabilities. Friends of Metro Parks disAbilities Program exists to help these opportunities grow and thrive through fundraising, volunteer support, advocacy, and community partnerships.
Our support helps make possible programs that foster confidence, independence, friendship, and lifelong learning. Whether participants are attending day programs, joining sports leagues, participating in summer camps, or enjoying special community events, each experience is designed to create a sense of belonging and connection.
